Test rig in our instrument workshop, first Kinetix 5500 any of us has touched. 2198-H008-ERS on a 1769-L33ERM, one axis, CIP motion over the built in port. It's a bench rig for trying out a new feeder, no guarding on it and no safety circuit yet.
Drive powers up, display says STO, and the axis in Studio sits at Inhibited. MSO errors straight away with a code I'd have to look up again, 60 something. We recreated the axis with defaults and reflashed the drive to the version Studio wanted, no change either way. Motor and feedback cables are fine and the drive sees the motor.
Is there an axis parameter I'm missing for STO on the 5500? Or is it something to do with there being no safety circuit on the rig yet, I'm not sure what else to look at.
Not an axis parameter. Display says STO, so the drive's safe torque off inputs aren't seeing 24V. What's wired to the STO connector on the front, the small one under the cover?
