TP1200 Comfort on a new packing machine, TIA V17 Update 6, WinCC Comfort. First transfer to the panel. Download to device runs the compile, finds the panel over PN/IE, then stops with "The project cannot be transferred because it is not compatible with the version of the device", or close to that wording. The panel is a new one from stock and it starts to the Start Center normally.
Tried: transferred over USB instead of Ethernet, exactly the same message. Recompiled the HMI, no errors. Made a new empty project with only the TP1200 in it, same message, so it is not something in my project.
In the device properties, General, the device version is V17.0.0.0. I have not touched that. Do I need a different version of the panel, or is the file damaged in some way?
Is that the same as the TIA version? On my bench rig the KTP has a device version in the project and something else called an image on the panel itself, and I have never understood whether they must match or why. Screenshot of my properties dialog attached, mine says V16.
